FAQ
Yes — as of May 2025, forced reset triggers are federally legal following a DOJ settlement that ended all ATF enforcement actions. FRTs are not classified as machine guns under the NFA. No tax stamp or registration is required. However, several states maintain independent bans: CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NJ, NY, RI, WA, DC, and PR. Always verify your local laws before purchasing.
We ship to all states where FRTs are legal. We cannot ship to: California, Colorado (Boulder County/Broomfield), Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. It is your sole responsibility to know and comply with your local laws. Orders to restricted jurisdictions will be cancelled and refunded.
Our AR-15 FRTs are compatible with standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. For best results, we recommend a mil-spec BCG (Bolt Carrier Group) and an H2 buffer — the heavier buffer improves reliability by slowing BCG travel. The AK FRT fits standard AK-pattern receivers. The TX-22 FRT is designed exclusively for the Taurus TX22 pistol. Check each product page for detailed compatibility information.
All of our triggers are true drop-in designs — no gunsmithing, no fitting, no modifications to your firearm. AR-15 installation takes approximately 5 minutes with a Torx wrench and roll pin punch. AK installation varies by model but remains tool-simple. No FFL is required to purchase or install trigger components.
We offer a 30-day return policy on uninstalled products in original condition. Installed products are not eligible for return but are covered under our manufacturer warranty for defects. If your order is cancelled due to shipping to a restricted state, a full refund will be issued. For warranty claims or returns, contact support with your order number.
No. Trigger components are not regulated firearms parts under federal law. No background check, no FFL transfer, and no government paperwork is required to purchase or possess our products. They ship directly to your door like any other online purchase.
